Prior to joining Stuart Smalley & Co LLC, Frances worked in Southampton for Paris Smith and before that Blake Lapthorn. She specialised in commercial property, landlord and tenant, asset management, secured lending, development work and site acquisitions and acted for major UK listed companies, various Primary Care Trusts, various Connexions Partnerships and the owner of six South coast marinas. She was involved in the £497m sale of over 200 pubs by a well-known pub/restaurant chain.

Since joining Stuart Smalley & Co LLC, Frances has gained experience in off-shore issues ranging from Manx corporate structures to banking and securities, commercial and private client work as well as continuing to deal with commercial and residential property transactions and landlord and tenant matters for UK property with emphasis on issues relating to non-resident landlords.
